For nine years, MDCR Rehab has served as a culturally inclusive treatment center within the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego. Born from a partnership with a regional hospital to address rising overdose rates, we recognized early that effective recovery must honor each person's cultural identity, language, and lived experience. Our medical detox program provides 24/7 physician-supervised withdrawal management with culturally sensitive nursing care. We address alcohol, opioid, benzodiazepine, and stimulant dependencies using medication-assisted protocols tailored to each person's medical history and comfort level.
